BIOGRAPHY
Kurt Lotigiers was born on 6th of January 1973 as the youngest son of the Lotigiers family.
Singing runs in the family blood: his brothers and his father are also singers and the grandfather was artistic opera director. Despite that, Kurt started his musical journey thanks to Hervé van de Velde – a well-known former pianoplayer in Flander’s jazz scene and owner of a big music shop. Thanks to his believe in Kurt’s talent, Kurt started to write his own songs directly.
Kurt Lotigiers proved himself as a live artist on many big and smaller stages.
He came into the spotlights through the Belgian Eurosong pre-selections in 2004 were he performed his self-composed ballade ‘My Heart’.

In 2006 followed the song ‘The Only Girl’ published under his own label, accompanied with a beautiful videoclip.

From 2013 until 2017 Kurt published 5 songs in his own language, especially for the music TV’s in Flanders. This songs are still well known and in the memory of the people.
​
At the same moment Kurt also took part in another style of music – thanks to the friendship with the Gangstarapper CHG Unfadable. Together they created ‘It’s Cool’, followed by ‘Against the wall’. The recent song they made together is an ode to Sinatra called ‘Rap Sinatra’.

End of 2018 Kurt moved his living place from Belgium to Austria to be together with the love of his life and he is back recording songs in English language.
As a thank you to his fans he gave a goodbye concert in Ghent in December 2018.

The new work he is currently recording is planned to come out by end of 2020. What it will be stays a surprise.
​

Kurt is suitable for an all-round audience who enjoys a high-quality and varied repertoire.
He brings both - a danceable and an ambiance program where the audience can go completely loose, yet also romantic ballads are extremely well performed by Kurt.
With a mix of English-language ambiance, rock, pop, disco and ballads, knows Kurt as all-round performer how to appeal to many audiences.
